Riff Headgear

Absolutely love my Riff mask, i’m a saltwater fly rodder chasing everything from stripers to tarpon and i threw away all my other sun masks after fishing in my Riff. I am also an avid bowhunter chasing Sika Deer on the salt marshes of the eastern shore of maryland and let me tell you a harder hunt does not exist due to the environment of the marsh, the warm temperatures hiking in hip boots through the marsh and mostly the bugs. My Riff keeps the mosquitos, no see ums, gnats, and green headed flies off me so i can concentrate on bugling stags! I’m also planning on using it this waterfowl season as well. The mask is well made, and shipping was fast. Plan on sending a bunch out to my buds for Christmas! 5 stars!

Love this alternative to sunscreen and as a facecover. Have the 2 different colors and have used them both while fishing and hunting. The material is light weight for the heat, yet would help keep you warm on a cool day. A

My experience with this mask has been awesome. I never leave it at home when going fishing and if I do I’m turning around to get it. It’s like my sunglasses. It breaks the sun and wind burns, and helps keep down mosquitoes. I fish the harsh back country mangroves of Florida and this mask is a must! Defiantly a tool of the trade for any person who is outdoors a lot! I wish I had the money to buy 2 more!

You don’t realize how much good the Riff Mask does until you spend a day in the sun fly fishing. You are tired, but not scorched and the next day you are good as new…and ready to go again. I had worn an older version that my son has and was surprised at first at the differences, but now good with it. I do wish I had ordered a medium vs a large with the new material and design but the adjustments allow me to make it fit better. Every outdoorsmen should have one.

I have used RIFF Headgear since my son gave me one when they first became available. We have both added four additional ones to ensure against loss. Our original RIFFs are still as good as new and holding up well. Austin’s RIFF is so well designed and well made that it is a bargain at any price. It is encouraging to see a product improve in ergonomics and UPF. The most impressive feature is the comfortable yet protective adjustable nose piece. No more foggy sunglasses and you’ll never lose your cap on a skiff again! I wish he had made them a decade or two earlier and I might have avoided some MOHS surgeries.
